Who else was excited with the announcement and immediate release of the DJI Mavic 2 series drones! We all knew it was coming, but now that it’s finally here we can get some real world reviews of the new series as they’ve already started landing in people’s hands around the world.
Elijah Browning, a commercial drone pilot from Michigan was one of the lucky ones to get his hands on a DJI Mavic 2 Pro right away after release, and he’s been awesome enough to hop on the show and share his thoughts on this new drone!
Of course he loves the drone, and has been extremely impressed with the first photos that he’s taken with it. Check out this one that he shot on day one through the super humid haze!
Elijah has had fun with the Mavic 2 Pro so far, however he has also experienced some difficulties with his new drone. While flying over water, he was experiencing some sensor errors that were causing the drone to hit the brakes for no apparent reason. What caused it? Fingerprint on the sensor? Firmware error? Broken drone? He’s going to keep looking into it and get back to us when he figures out what could have been causing it. The good news as we discuss in the episode is that it’s stopping his drone, and not flinging it in random directions!
