Benjamin Holmes - Australian Drone PilotBenjamin Holmes has been working in the drone industry for about a year now, and has been really putting his nose down over the past 4 months. So far he’s been working in real estate, shooting top down photos of his client’s properties, and is looking at getting into mapping and modelling in the near future.

Since I’ve connected with Benjamin, I’ve watched his business and online following grow from a few hundred up to a few thousand now. His secret? He’s a big fan of Instagram stories, as well as google ads to drive customers to his business. He’s also taking out ads in local papers, and reaping the benefits of word of mouth referrals. Yes you can pay for your traffic, but those word of mouth referrals definitely can’t be beat!

In addition to all the awesome stuff that we discuss in this episode, Benjamin also gets into the licensing and insurance systems in Australia.

Benjamin is currently flying the DJI Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic Pro models, where he leans on the Mavic when he’s on his motorcycle and needs something portable.

In addition to all the awesome stuff that we discuss in this episode, Benjamin also gets into the licensing and insurance systems in Australia.
