Tyler Leipprandt is a Michigan based drone pilot, who is working in real estate and also shooting landscape photos with his drone. Tyler was a teacher for 5 years, and then made the transition into instructional technology. From there his love of drones and tech grew, and the rest has been history.
Many people sell their drone prints in a variety of ways, but Tyler has come up with a very cool way to sell his prints locally. There is a large farmers market where he has rented space, where he’s selling his prints every Saturday. How does that work? Very well, and listening to this show will give you all the details of how he’s succeeding with this idea.
Tyler has a big shoot coming up this weekend with the Detroit Free Press Marathon, being one of only two drone pilots that will be allowed in the area. He put in a lot of work to coordinate this, including local police, FBI, the FAA, and the city of Michigan. Congrats on all that work, and good luck on the shoot this coming weekend!
One of the influencers that Tyler has benefitted from during his photographic and video journey is Peter McKinnon. If you’re not familiar with his work, check out his youtube channel to see what he’s all about and how he’s creating awesome content.
Tyler also recommends DJI Care Refresh to cover off his drones. He’s taken advantage of it in the past, and heavily recommends it for anyone that is flying a DJI product. The price and benefits that he discusses definitely makes it worth it!
